- Community Outreach: The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring the 12th annual "Polar Plunge" on Saturday, February 25 at Wet & Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro. Staff members from all four divisions of SOS will participate to benefit Special Olympics.

- Sponsorship: All four divisions of Southeastern Orthopaedic Specialists, P.A. are helping to sponsor the 2011 Piedmont Winterfest, which included an outdoor ice skating rink downtown. The rink helps draw the community together to celebrate the winter season.
