Biography:

Dr. Hilts entered family practice because he likes the idea of “continuity of care” – seeing patients and their families year after year, and getting to know them personally as well as medically. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages, including young children and adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The scope of his practice includes everything from general wellness/prevention visits to management of chronic medical problems (i.e. hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, etc.) to treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. He performs office procedures such as injections, suturing, toenail removal, mole removal, and casting, but does not perform orthopedic surgery. (Drs. Yates, Duda, Dean, Meyerdierks and Blackman are readily available to do so, should this be determined necessary.)
