Dr. Rebecca Bassett joined SM&OC in 2003 upon completion of the Moses Cone Hospital Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. At SM&OC, Dr. Bassett has been instrumental in developing and refining orthotics for foot problems. She sees all types of sports medicine injuries and is particularly interested in youth sports and fitness.
Dr. Bassett resides in Greensboro with her husband Scott and daughter Sydney. She is actively involved in the running community and with local sports. She is a team physician for the United States Women’s Soccer National Team and for Rockingham County High School.
